I wish I knew you.
The lady that walks before me.
Almost gliding in front of my eyes
Like a soft, whispering feather.
I dare not blink,
Wanting to hold the moment forever.
I smile, and try to penetrate beyond mere sight.
I wish I could laugh with you.
Feel what you feel,
Sense what you sense.
Oceans are vast, but beautiful things-
Romantic to the mind's dreams.
I see you on the shore.
Come, and walk with me,
Lady of calm and gentle disposition,
Kiss me and hold me.
Know me, and I will know you-
Two feathers borne on the wind.
