About



I'm Craig Gilbert, born in Alexandria, Scotland in 1973. I studied as a computer programmer at Trowbridge College when I was 17, and started my career in IT, which spanned a period of 10 years, doing all manner of programming, database design, website design, and finally IT support.

During these years in IT, in my spare time, I have always been interested in writing. I started writing A Wizard's Tears way back when I was 16, but the finished book is the third draft, and is totally unrecognisable to the original.

I also started to write poetry, not as a view of producing a book, but just to jot down my feelings and thoughts at the time. The result produced Soul Shadows, a book with relative success in the USA as well as in the UK. Keen to continue poetry, I wrote several more in a new volume, Alchemy Of Love, and am currently writing another, I Am You, which is nearing completion.

I have also studied music, learning to play the piano, and have always loved reading and doing creative things with my mind.

I have recently moved back to my homeland, Scotland, where I am now working as an information assistant for countryside. I have always wanted to write for a living. This website and the internet has provided me with the means to be able to do that..

I would like to thank everyone who visit this site regularly, for their support and patience, and for those who have bought my books, as it is you that keep me going on my various projects, and make all of this worthwhile.
